The session started with introspection into the exploration of the application of 'win-win' approach as an exercise from individual level to an endeavor at the national level. Saryat Deoja, of Nepal Development watch dog, commenced by talking about addressing our basic rights before we went to larger needs. He stressed that in the Nepali context development is really meager and an extensive and meaningful development is required for overall holistic development.

The session progressed as the speaker talked of cultivating a Supra conscience which includes taking ownership of societal/national problems and adoption of problem solving approach. Implementation of 'win-win' approach at all phases of problem solving along side with the manifestation of super-consciousness would allow us to progress positively. Collective effort, collaboration and reinforcement are the pathways to Rapid development. He gave the audience an insight into the Recreation of South Asia in a New Light. The integration of win-win approach into the development of South Asia would come in the form of more amiable approaches to inter-state relation, keeping into perspective of the changing global, political, economic front and the increase in people's political and social consciousness.

He presented examples of IT resolution, the age of globalization and the transition of global society to economic blockism and expressed the need for incorporation of 'win-win' approach into South Asia. Mr Deoja gave further examples of benefits to a country after adopting better bilateral relation. After signing the free trade agreement with India, Srilanka ended up with benefiting more than India in terms of percentage gains through the pact....
